Who we are
Engine 10 Days is run by Lindomar Pereira, who is responsible for your personal data. For any privacy question, email [email protected] or call 020 3488 7015.
What we collect
- Quote requests: your name, phone number, email address and postcode, plus your vehicle registration, model, year, engine, mileage, symptoms and any details you add.
- Feedback: your name, vehicle, rating and message.
- Technical data: your IP address, used to protect the site from abuse and spam.
- Analytics: how you use the site, only if you accept analytics cookies.
Why we use it
- To answer your quote request and carry out the work. We need this data to take the steps you ask for before and during a contract with us.
- To publish your feedback. We only publish your name, vehicle, rating and message if you tick the box giving your consent.
- To understand how the site is used. We only do this with your consent.
- To keep the site secure. This is in our legitimate interest.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We use these service providers to run the site:
- Railway: website hosting and data storage.
- Cloudflare: domain, security and delivery of the site.
- Resend: sends us an email alert with your quote request.
- Google: Analytics, if you accept, and the website fonts, which share your IP address with Google when a page loads.
- WhatsApp: only if you choose to contact us there.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States, so your data may be processed there under the safeguards they provide.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any work we carry out, and to meet our legal and accounting duties. After that we delete it. You can ask us to remove your published feedback at any time.
Cookies
Google Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them, and they can last up to two years. Your browser also stores your language and your cookie choice, so the site can remember them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit how we use it, to object to its use, or to receive a copy. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of this, contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
